ISIQ-0128

Hello again!

I have a few things to say today.

Firstly, thanks to everyone who wrote to me after my lengthy post a day or two back. It really meant a great deal to me that you reached out and connected. It made my day, actually. Honestly. Thankyou.

Secondly, I completed my first ever photo-walk today with a group of about 14 enthusiastic photographers, starting and ending in my home suburb of Coogee (pictured above). It was delightful. I had a great time just wandering around, taking pictures, and I really enjoyed sharing a few things with the people on the walk as we meandered around the place. Thanks to all of the attendees – especially if you happen to be on this IQ group too!

Lastly, I LOVE this shot of Coogee. It uses the “tilt-shift” effect of making things look like they’re in miniature and it was taken at the end of our photo walk today. The quote refers rather obviously to the miniature-look of the image, but has a couple of deeper meanings for me. It references the fun I had leading a small group around the coastal cliffs of Coogee today, and it also references being grateful for the small things in life.

Until tomorrow.

With love,
Israel. xo
