It’s a tradition every year for Israel to do a portrait shoot of Indrani during our annual Christmas/New Year holiday.
This years portraits are particularly important because we wanted to capture Indrani’s nature and beauty before she started Kindy, and of course we have a new addition to our family – Rilien.
In these portraits, Rilien is almost 3 months old and has already changed so much since our family portraits when he was 2 weeks old. And as you can see, Indrani (4.5 yo) simply adores her little brother!
The location for our portraits was lovely serene Crescent Head beach.
I just love these 2 moments. The gentle kiss on the back of little brothers head, and the confidence of big sister in nursing her brother with no hands. Rilien seems pretty chilled out in her lap too.
Where has time gone? She is so grown up, and yes I am extremely biased but isn’t she beautiful?
Indrani was just so excited that Santa brought her a “bicycle”. The confidence in the image below came after days and days of coaxing her to get on the bike. After fitting the bike to the car at 5am to go to Cresent Head and getting as far as the petrol station in Coogee before being pulled over by a police car for not having our number plate visible, there was no way she was going to cop out on learning to ride:)
The serious and the cheeky!
One of my favourite shots – I just love the scale of the hands & Rilien’s intense look into my face.
