“If the world seems cold to you, kindle fires to warm it.” – Lucy Larcom

I am struggling with winter. This happens every year, and every year I struggle with it. I think it’s a combination of a 1910’s-era home without insulation or central heating, coupled with high ceilings, expansive rooms, and timber floors under the carpet. The house is awesome in summer (nice and cool) but in winter it’s a total icebox.

I needed to find something positive to say about the weather and temperature, because it was bringing me down.

The quote I found was essentially a variation on a common theme on here: If you don’t like it, DO SOMETHING about it.

So that’s what I’ll leave you with today.

With love, always with love,
Israel. xo
