This one goes out to my brother in law Lance, who is living and working in Paris, France right now.
We had a great hour-and-a-half Skype chat last night, and he dropped this pearl of wisdom – which was a quote he’d been given about travelling from one of his friends.
It was so relevant to our chat, and so insightful.
There is always a backup plan, a way back to where we were, a way to retreat.
But.
The way to move forward, the opportunity we’ve been seeking, the people we want to be with, the chance of a lifetime – THOSE things may NOT always be there.
Choose your direction wisely, and make sure you seize the way forward as often as you can.
