ISIQ-0295

“Trust.”

You know, sometimes we all have a crisis of confidence. Sometimes we all feel like a fraud, or feel like it’ll never work out, or feel like it’s all a bit hard.

News flash: That’s just our ego, trying desperately to keep us safe. It’s the lizard brain, or the resistance, making sure that we don’t put ourselves in mortal peril.

News flash #2: With how most of us live these days, we are never in mortal peril. So the lizard brain is sending us fear messages for NO GOOD REASON.

What have you got to lose? What have you got to gain?

I listened to a podcast earlier this week where an entrepreneur told the story of how she had written out, in excruciating detail, her worst case scenario. Absolute worst case, she would lose all her money, all her friends, and all her possessions, and move back to her parents house. Ultimately she’d work at Starbucks, earning minimum wage, and eventually she’d rebuild her confidence and rebuild her life.

Not that bad after all, right?

So today’s IQ is a proclamation that all you gotta do is TRUST.

Trust yourself. Trust your instincts. Trust your skills. Trust your partners. Trust your friends. Trust your heart. Trust your creativity. Trust your soul. Trust your interpretation of a higher power – God, Buddha, the Universe, etc.

Just TRUST.

It’ll all be OK. I promise.

With love,
Israel. xo
