ISIQ-0367

“The few who do are the envy of the many who only watch.” – Jim Rohn

Yesterday I was fortunate enough to enjoy a workshop with Super Social Marketer Legend Extraordinaire – David Watson from Strategy Point.

We covered MANY things, from overall strategy, to fine-detailed stuff like “what the HELL is Pinterest?” (Just kidding. Sort of.)

Either way, I learned a lot from David’s workshop. I also learned how he is an avid reader of these IQs. It’s funny how I had become a little apathetic about producing these IQs over the past few days. The reasons are because I’ve been working massive hours, and (AGAIN) neglecting the self care routine under the guise of “too busy”. Meh.

SO yesterday my wife kicked my butt out of bed at 5:30am to do some yoga while the kids slept. I hated her for it, for about 2 minutes, and then I realised how much better I was feeling. Same deal this morning, without the hate. I realised that I had to kick-start the “doing” muscle again by getting myself up and moving early.

We both remarked this morning how despite only two days of re-starting our morning routine, we both felt noticeably better.

So how the heck does this relate back to today’s IQ?

A couple of ways, but mostly that the rewards of life don’t find you if you simply sit back and watch. You need to take action. You need to DO stuff.

We could get into a whole philosophical tangent about “Being” vs “Doing”… but for now, in a mashup of Sir Richard Branson and a famous shoe brand: Screw it. Just do it.

According to Jim Rohn, if you start being one of the “few who do”, you’ll be the envy of the many who watch.

With love,
Israel. xo
