ISIQ-0369

“Talk about it.”

I love a chat. No, honestly. If you have met me in person, you know that my words tumble all over each other, I constantly tell long, meandering stories, and I can easily lose hours in the simple act of talking with people.

I love it. I love relating to people in this way. I love swapping funny anecdotes, and getting deep and philosophical – often in the same breath. I thoroughly enjoy conversing.

Except.

When I was really low, with depression, I felt I had to carry the world on my shoulders, and not say a word about it. I was struck dumb. Mute. Unable to open up. Incapable of sharing the tiniest bit of how I was really, really feeling.

It was horrible.

Until my wife (wise one that she is) confronted me one day and told me to talk to someone about it. I wasn’t able to talk with her – for the first time in our entire relationship – so she suggested I talk with my StepDad.

Best. Suggestion. Ever.

From that one phone call with Pete, everything opened up. Worlds shifted, pathways cleared, and a way out of the funk was found.

My tip? Talk about it. Whatever it is.

Don’t worry about what time of day it is – if you are calling someone you love, and you really, REALLY need to talk to them, just call them. They’ll love you and understand. Just be honest, be open, and TALK ABOUT IT.

That’s all for now.

I’m off to get ready for my Webinar, which starts a couple of hours after this IQ will hit your inboxes.

With LOTS of love,
Israel. xo

PS – if you *still* haven’t registered for the webinar, but are keen, here’s the magic link.
