“Take one step at a time.”

Belinda and I are up for some pretty big stuff.

Like… designing and building a coach-sized motorhome, for starters.
And transforming children’s health one lunchbox at a time, as well.
And leaving the city we’ve lived in for 18 years to travel our country and work on the road.
Oh, and home-schooling our kids through the trip.

Did I mention running workshops, seminars, and online courses for The Root Cause while we go?
And running education programs through schools for kids to learn to eat better.
There’s something in there about making a documentary film challenging the state of children’s health, too.
Don’t forget re-engineering our photography business to be portable, so I can shoot while we travel.

And to top all that off, we’re already challenging the status quo daily, by living an unconventional life (self-employed work-from-homers) doing work we LOVE (family portrait photography) in a way that we want (lifestyle first, work second) in one of the most expensive areas (Coogee, Eastern Suburbs) of one of the world’s most expensive cities (Sydney, Australia).

Phew.

As you can imagine, this big list becomes a little overwhelming from time to time.

Like on Sunday, when we wrote out everything into a spreadsheet and looked at all of it at once.

And like last night, when we found ourselves still plugging away at 11pm – me researching the 12V/24V electrical appliances for our bus, and Bel working on her first ever 180-attendee, day-long workshop to teach children at Indrani’s school about food and better health – next Monday, in case you were wondering.

And so, we come to today’s quote.

Pretty self-explanatory, really, when taken in context of everything I just told you.

With lots of love and gratitude,
Israel. xo
