“A successful marriage requires falling in love many times, always with the same person.” – Mignon McLaughlin

Given how frantically busy things have been in our household this week, my wife and I have had plenty of time to say things to each other, but very little time to actually talk.

We high-five each other (figuratively) on the way in and out of the house, seeing clients, going Xmas shopping, taking the kids here and there, and so on.

We’ve been working late as I produce our client Xmas orders, and she builds her amazing The Root Cause business, and we’ve been collapsing into bed much later than we ought, utterly exhausted.

Each morning we’re woken by our son around 5:45am, and lately, my wife has been giving me a generous sleep-in so I’m able to work effectively. (Bel deals with poor sleep much better than me.)

Every day, I am grateful for my wife, and fall more madly in love with her. Quite apart from the fact that she’s smokin’ hot, Bel has a thoughtfulness and generosity of spirit that astounds me.

Despite her busy schedule, Bel always makes amazing food for me, looks after the little things around the house, and makes sure I’m looking after myself the best I can.

I love her to pieces, and I regularly fall in love with my wife all over again – especially at times like these, when life is cray cray busy, and there simply isn’t time for slow, deep stares into each others’ eyes.

So today’s IQ is a dedication to my amazing wife, and an expression of my gratitude for everything she is, and all that she does to make my life as amazing and blessed as it is.

With love,
Israel. xo
