“Recharge.”
Ironic how yesterday’s IQ was about technology, and due to mess-ups on my end and the technology end, it didn’t reach you until today. Fortunately, it was also about people – forgiving, accommodating, loving, people. I know you get it. :)
Today’s IQ sums up exactly what I need. I’ve been pushing hard for a few weeks now, and have found that when I get focussed on my work, I don’t take the time to slow down and unwind like I should.
I spent lots of Friday night sitting on my back porch reading “The Fountainhead” by Ayn Rand. That time reading was the perfect recharge.
(Shout out to my dear friend Renai who loaned me the book. Several months ago. I’ll finish it eventually and you’ll get it back, I promise.)
Today, I plan to spend a bit more time nurturing myself, and relaxing with my wife and kids, and some other dear friends. It’s a Recharge day. It’s Sunday too, so I guess that all fits.
