“When you pray, move your feet.” – African Proverb

Today’s quote came from a great book I’m reading called “Money: A Love Story” by Kate Northrup. It’s funny how, when you have a lesson you need to learn, you keep getting it sent to you from (what feels like) a dozen different sources at once. Have you ever had this experience?

Anyway, this book is amazing. Highly recommend it. Next on my reading list is “Getting Things Done” by David Allen. THAT book is one of the lessons I keep getting from many disparate sources, so I’m gonna listen to the Universe on this one. It’s on the list to buy, read and implement, ASAP.

Now, today’s quote. When you pray, move your feet. To me, this is saying: praying without taking action is kinda pointless.

Hilariously, one of the key tenets I’ve read about the Getting Things Done book is its focus on “Next Action” as the key focus in our task lists. There’s that word, and lesson, again.

You need to take action. You need to move your feet.

You are the blessing you’ve been waiting for.

Now get out of your own way, and make it happen, OK?

With love,
Israel. xo
