In the past few days I’ve really come to terms with (read: utterly surrendered to) the value of experience. The maturation of age, the benefit of years gone by. I see it in my photography, my relationships, even my writing. I see it in other artists, other creatives, other journey-men and -women of their trade/craft/skill.
Nothing happens overnight, and the best things take time to come to their full potential.
Keep at it, and remember the wise counsel of Athanaeus: some of the best things are old.
It might take you a whole lifetime to become good at something. (Like unconditional love.)
