“A dream that you don’t fight for can haunt you for the rest of your life.” – Herb Copperbottom

Inspirational Quotes come from the most bizarre places. Robots, the animated movie, for example.

In another scene in the movie, Herb (the father of the main character Rodney Copperbottom) explains how as a young man he loved music, and dreamed of being a successful musician. But his father had worries that he wouldn’t make a good living. Herb took his dad’s advice and got refitted to become a dishwasher, abandoning his dreams of playing music.

Both today’s quote, and the exposition about Herb’s own dreams being abandoned, come at a critical point in Rodney’s path where he stands before a choice: stay safe, or leap into the unknown.

Have you abandoned any dreams that now haunt you? Did you take the leap into the unknown? What have you had to really fight for?

I’m truly curious – please drop me a line and let me know. :)

With love,
Israel. xo
