I was interviewed last week for a podcast that a friend of mine has created – called Photo Biz Exposed – and I openly shared my feelings and thoughts about my life, my business, and my own experience with depression. It has attracted some comments about how grateful people are for my honesty.
I have to say, I find it extremely easy and very empowering to be honest about life – especially about my depression – and today’s IQ was inspired by that little piece of feedback from one of the listeners (also a friend of mine.)
I’m not saying I’m full of wisdom, but I do make a point of living an honest life and being honest with people always. It’s far easier, and less draining. And I find it has hidden, unexpected bounties such as being invited to do podcast interviews ;)
