ISIQ-0116

This quote was inspired by a delightful day today with my wife and daughter, where we simply spent an indulgent day together. My daughter Indrani is on school holidays, so we took the opportunity of my son Rilien being in day care, and had a Mum/Dad/Daughter day.

We started with a film called Flight Of The Butterflies at the IMAX theatre in Darling Harbour, followed by a coffee and chocolate at the Lindt cafe in Cockle Bay Wharf. By the way, the film is AMAZING and you really should see it. Filled with stunning visuals, and a beautiful metaphor for a life well lived.

Then we popped on the ferry to Manly and had fish ‘n chips on the beach watching the surf. Both Belinda (my wife) and Indrani practised their handstands and cartwheels in the sand, and we all got our ankles wet in the shorebreak. Just beautiful.

Lastly, a late-afternoon return ferry ride through Sydney Harbour as the light turned magical, a prompt walk through the city to the car park, and an easier-than-expected drive through pre-peak-hour traffic to our son’s day care.

SUCH a beautiful day, with lots of laughs, some great times with my girls, and a lot of lovely photos that I’ll post as soon as I’ve had a minute to process them properly.

Enjoy a lazy day sometime soon … I thoroughly enjoyed mine, and really recommend it.

With love,
Israel. xo
