Dear friends,

This image was taken on my iPhone at the end of a beautiful family portrait session I shot around Sydney harbour this afternoon, for a couple expecting their first baby. The light was magical, and the love they were showing each other was a pure delight to behold through my camera lens.

It topped off a day of laughter, paddleboarding, falling off, getting back on, kayaking, and drifting around Rose Bay and Point Piper in Sydney Harbour. I shared it with my wife, I got a little sunburnt, and I ate a lazy lunch with a great coffee to finish it all off, before starting work for the day. (At 2pm.)

Some days are just pure. Today was one of them. Today, I love the world, and I am immensely grateful for the work I do, the art I create, and the opportunities I have. (Hence, Nietzsche’s quote.)

I know I’m on a bit of a mush-burger roll of love, happiness and mung-beans right now… But so what?! I’m happy. I’m grateful. I’m sharing it with the world.

Maybe some will rub off onto you too. :)

With love,
Israel. xo
