“We live as though there aren’t enough hours in the day but if we do each thing calmly and carefully we will get it done quicker and with much less stress.” – Viggo Mortensen

The full quote from Viggo Mortensen is this:

“One of the best pieces of advice I ever got was from a horse master. He told me to go slow to go fast. I think that applies to everything in life. We live as though there aren’t enough hours in the day but if we do each thing calmly and carefully we will get it done quicker and with much less stress.”

I had to trim for space, but the “Go slow to go fast” part is particularly important. It’ll probably become an IQ of its own in future.

For now, I’d suggest that there’s more than a grain of truth in this quote. This is, after all, the underlying reason why people happily sit still and meditate for an hour each day, then go on to become massively productive.

With love,
Israel. xo
