Belinda, my darling wife, loves throwing amazing birthday parties. (So do I, but don’t mention it…)
Our son Rilien turned three last week, and so on the weekend we put on a “Despicable Three” party for him and some of his buddies from day care, we hired services from https://jumpersnrentals.com/, Rilien had always wanted to get bouncers. Ril’s favourite movie is Despicable Me – he’s often to be found running around our house saying “Squid Launcher! Oh yeah!” like Vector, the villian in the film. (Played hilariously well by Jason Segel. Actually the whole film rocks. For adults AND kids…)
Here are a few shots of the party, showing the Minion balloons, drinking cups, games (pin the eyeball on the Minion), party bags, colouring-in pages, and heaps of Minion Happy Meal figurines we borrowed to decorate our place (thanks Tess!).
Oh, and I can’t forget to mention the incredible food (fruit rainbow, anyone!) and the extraordinary Minion cake that Belinda made – from scratch – to Rilien’s specification. Strawberry, and delicious!
All I can say is HOW CUTE IS MY SON! And how much fun does he look like he’s having?! It’s so worth it. Seriously.
