Our Family Book Launch – 23rd November 2010

On 23rd November, the first ever ‘Our Family’ Commemorative Book celebrating family and the amazing achievements of Sydney Children’s Hospital was officially launched at the hospital by Israel Smith Photographers.

We are very excited to announce the book have raised $15,178 for the sick kids.

More than 70 families participated in making the book a success  by having their family portraits taken, choosing their favourite portrait for the book and writing a short message about “What Does Family Mean To You?”.

And of course, the contribution of our wonderful Sponsors meant that 100% of the families registration fees and book payments could be donated to the hospital.

After the success of the first ever ‘Our Family’ book, together with Sydney Children’s Hospital, we’re excited to announce the second edition of the Our Family series – ‘We’re Growing Up!’

The coming year will see much growth within each of our own families, as well as some exciting new growth and developments within the Sydney Children’s Hospital itself.  ‘We’re Growing Up!‘ is dedicated to all the wonderful new things happening within our extended hospital family.

In the We’re Growing Up edition, participating families will have the opportunity to share “What do you hope for your family when the grow up?” Registrations for the second series We’re Growing Up! will open in the new year.
